Belarus to produce Italian cheese

A plant to produce Italian cheese will be built in Belarus, Agriculture and Food Minister of Belarus Mikhail Rusyi told media on 19 May.

The project has already been launched. The plant will be located in Turov. “It will daily process 150 tonnes of milk. The plant will come into service next year,” Mikhail Rusyi said.

The minister also added that Belarus is currently in talks to attract Lithuanian capital in cheese production. “I think the major negotiations will start next week,” the minister said.
