Turkish Taysad eager to cooperate with Belarus

Turkish Taysad, the Association of Automotive Parts and Components Manufacturers, is interested in cooperation with Belarusian car producers, President of Taysad Association Celal Kaya said as he met with Deputy Chairman of the Mogilev Oblast Executive Committee Vladimir Kravtsov on 21 June.

According to Celal Kaya, Turkish companies are eager not only to deliver parts and components to Belarus but also set up joint companies and establish close cooperation. “Turkey’s industry has been vigorously developing within the recent years, and today we are eager to branch out into Europe and the CIS. We see Belarus as a reliable partner to provide investments and promote mutually beneficial cooperation. We also hope that your country will help us advance into Russia,” Celal Kaya said.

Taysad representatives are convinced that the information about the capacity of Belarus’ economy and automobile manufacturing industry that they have collected during a two-days visit to Belarus will encourage Turkish businessmen to enhance further cooperation. “Immediately after the visit to Belarus we will inform members of our association. They sell 75% of all spare parts abroad. Among their partners are such automobile companies as Fiat and Renault,” Celal Kaya said.

Vladimir Kravtsov promised to help implement investment projects to set up new and joint companies with Turkish investors in the region. He stressed that Mogilev Oblast already operates several companies with Turkish capital. They are successfully developing and are mostly export-oriented.

Taysad is also interested in cooperation with the Mogilev FEZ Administration, Mogilev Automobile Plant and Mogilevtransmash. On 22 June they are going to visit Minsk Automobile Plant (MAZ trademark).
