Investment company EnterInvest offers to participate in the project on the reconstruction of the heat supply system of Mayskiy village. The project is based on use of low-grade geothermal energy applying vapour compression heat pumps.


About the project

The initiator of the project is New Investment Technologies Ltd. EnterInvest acts as a project manager.

The main aim of the project is creation of an enterprise, which will provide services at all stages of geothermal project development.

Two “water-water” heat pumps with total power of 1,1 MW and a wood-fired boiler with the power of 0,5 MW supposed to be installed in the boiler house of Mayskiy village.

This project is on the development phase; pre-project preparatory stage has been successfully passed. If the project succeeds, such projects will be launched in more than 20 Belarusian small towns and villages.

Technological indicators (tentative)

The number of wells: 3

The depths of wells: 180 m

Water temperature at the depth of 180 m: 7,5 оС

The volume of heat generated: 1,6 MWper year

The main advantages of the project:

• Concessional taxation.
• Absence of rivals.
• State support and favourable legislation.
• Great amount of sites for similar projects implementation.
• Low energy efficiency of large manufacturers – main consumers of heat energy in Belarus.

Investor

Participation of strategic or financial investors in joint development of the project is supposed. Other ways of cooperation with investors are also possible.
